ABOUT US
After spending two months in Nairobi, Kenya working for a Salvation Army Children’s Home, it was amazing to see the incredible ministry the Salvation Army is doing out there. We wanted to continue supporting them, which is how Siri Ni Yesu was born. All our designs are based on African proverbs or choruses that we came across in Kenya. We are raising money for the amazing projects that are supporting the local community and soldiers while spreading some of their African spirit.
WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING
​The Salvation Army have an incredible presence in the Kenya East Territory. There are hundreds of schools providing education for children who otherwise cannot afford it or are turned away from schooling due to disabilities. There are girls’ centres teaching young women in trades such as hairdressing and giving them a career which will lift them out of poverty. There are clinics providing health care to rural communities. After meeting these people and seeing their faces, we must help. We must continue this amazing work.
